Beschreibung Path Integral Methods in Quantum Field Theory (Cambridge Monographs on Mathematical Physics)
This is a concise graduate level introduction to analytical functional methods in quantum field theory. Functional integral methods provide relatively simple solutions to a wide range of problems in quantum field theory. After introducing the basic mathematical background, this book goes on to study applications and consequences of the formalism to the study of series expansions, measure, phase transitions, physics on spaces with nontrivial topologies, stochastic quantisation, fermions, QED, non-abelian gauge theories, symmetry breaking, the effective potential, finite temperature field theory, instantons and compositeness. Serious attention is paid to the shortcomings of the conventional formalism (e.g. problems of measure) as well as detailed appraisal of the ambiguities of series summation. This book will be of great use to graduate students in theoretical physics wishing to learn the use of functional integrals in quantum field theory. It will also be a useful reference for researchers in theoretical physics, especially those with an interest in experimental and theoretical particle physics and quantum field theory.

Path Integrals in Field Theory: An Introduction (Advanced ~ "This book is an introduction to path integral methods in quantum theory. It is divided into three parts devoted correspondingly to nonrelativistic quantum theory, quantum field theory and gauge theory. … in this book the author has achieved a reasonable compromise between compactness and profoundness. From one side, he avoided many technical details and concentrated on the main points of the path integral method. From the other side, the principal ideas and logical structure of the theory .

Path Integrals and Anomalies in Curved Space (Cambridge ~ Path integrals provide a powerful method for describing quantum phenomena. This book introduces the quantum mechanics of particles that move in curved space by employing path integrals and then using them to compute anomalies in quantum field theories. The authors start by deriving path integrals for particles moving in curved space and their supersymmetric generalizations. They then discuss the regularization schemes essential to constructing and computing these path integrals .
Cambridge Monographs on Particle Physics, Nuclear Physics ~ The book begins with a pedagogic account of the Standard Model, introducing essential techniques such as effective field theory and path integral methods. It then focuses on the use of the Standard Model in the calculation of physical properties of particles. Rigorous methods are emphasized, but other useful models are also described. This second edition has been updated to include recent .
